BURLINGTON PROFILE


Located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain between the Adirondack and Green Mountains, Burlington is the largest city in Vermont.

Settled by the Allen brothers in the 1770's, Ethan Allen's original home from 1787 still stands today.

Burlington is the home of the University of Vermont and Champlain College. Outdoor recreational opportunities abound with the lake, Winooski River and mountains all nearby.
