DURANGO PROFILE


Situated high in the Animas River Valley at over 6,500 feet in elevation, Durango is southwest Colorado's largest city.

Durango is home to Fort Lewis College. The town is an outdoor adventurers paradise with hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, boating and countless other pursuits in the nearby San Juan Mountain Range of the Rocky Mountains and the San Juan National Forest.

Mesa Verde National Park is within easy driving distance.
