HANOVER PROFILE


Hanover, situated in historic southern Pennsylvania, was settled about 1730 by German immigrants.

The battle of Hanover was fought on site and the Battle of Gettysburg was fought 20 miles west of the city.

Hanover is a charming small town with many bed & breakfasts and is one of the great horse breeding areas in the country. Including surrounding townships and communities the population swells to over 50,000.
