PROVO PROFILE

One of the largest cities in Utah, Provo was settled by Mormon pioneers in 1849.

Provo is set in a naturally beautiful area between the Wasatch Mountains and Utah Lake. The nearby mountains and Provo River provide world-class recreation.

Provo is the home of Brigham Young University, the second largest private university in the nation. The university's cultural and sports offerings play an integral role in the city.
